But remember that you can only use certain network cards on the BN. Ever
wonder why?
WINDOWS CE is not Windows XP. Windows XP is for the PC. People use
their
PC's in many different ways, and connect many different kinds of devices
to
them. Thus Windows XP provides many generic device drivers that usually
work with most devices, but not all. Windows CE is designed to run on
PDA's, which are compact and do not have nearly as much memory. Thus the
OS
had to be greatly scaled down. People generally do not use PDA's in the
same way, and for as many tasks, so the OS contains far fewer generic
drivers. This is why you can't just plug in any old printer, modem,
network
adapter, or mass storage device to the BN. /The situation is made worse
because PDA's that allow you to interact with the OS allow you to install
drivers, but because of Keysoft we cannot do this with the Braillenote.

Well, I could use my wireless and wired copact flash cards without drivers
on the BN.

I doubt that the lexar would work, because they need a driver, and the
BN does not allow for installing 3rd party drivers.

Pam, which .mp3 thumb drive players do you have that work with the
mpower?
I have a lexar thumb drive which was durable enough to make it through
the laundry, both wash and dry! I sure wish it would work with mpower
when I get one. :-) Rusty

My boss reports that his pride and joy, the Scandisk Mini-Cruiser
(titanium thumb drive) did not work with the mPower. That's why I
posed the question.

Hi Susie,
I have a lexar thumb drive that isn't working with the mpower, but then I
have two .mp3 players that also act as thumb drives, and these do work.
From
what I understand most thumb drives will work with the Mpower.
