Hi rhonda; I am thankful that funds were not available for the 6.1 upgrade. The chance did not come until a week before convention. I had just heard about the Mpower. Sounds like God was looking out for me. I should have the funds hopefully Friday. terry Powers

The equipment for sighted people is not nearly as expensive. Because so many are made, you can expect upgrades all of the time. I believe what you are saying is, that since we spend so much money, before purchasing, it might help to know that another new piece of equipment will be out in a month. That way, we can make an informed decision. Most people probably wouldn't have chosen to buy a BrailleNote/VoiceNote had they known they could get a more upgraded piece of equipment in two or three months.
