No one was asking about standard windows, I was asking about windows ce
since the person said the reason why a sdk shouldn't be readily avaible
to anyone is cause of viruses to windows, so I asked aren't we running a
risk since we run "Windows CE"? the braillenote runs windows ce. I
presumed that everyone was on the same page about this.

The BrailleNote family of products is immune to viruses written under
standard Windows, since they run Windows CE. As of now, there aren't
many viruses out there written for PDA's. Lucky us!

Do we not have a virus risk already do to the fact that we run windows?

Yeah,
But you don't want people who don't know what they're doing to develop
programs. That is a draw back. Also, would the virus risk be increased?

I for one agree that if there was a SDK then we could build a messenger
program that would allow us to communict and have a PDA like others, and
also develop altive programs for one the planner so it is more like the
Outlook one that is on every other device out there I belive :-)
Any how I don't have a device yet but form what I am reading and have
read in the manul and played around with on the standard classic VN
QT
This topic should make for a interesting subject and maybe give insight
in to the next KeySoft
Thanks

Can a software development kit be developed to help expand our braille

for the braille note can a program be made that is wizard driven or
something to enable us to indipendantly write programs for other users
like
spreadsheets, games, databases, etcetra?
or, has the m power paved the way for us to gain access to third

applications? a messenger program like MSN, AOL and Yahoo or all
three,
would be cool if we are on teh move and using our braille notes in all
