Hi Kathy and list, We have chosen to leave the reply address of email sent to the list so that by default, all replies are directed to the list. We can either have replies sent to the list, have them sent to the original sender or pointed at a specific email address. The thinking when we reviewed this last, is that people who are just starting out with the BrailleNote don't have to consciously go and change the email address but I'm willing to listen to list members' opinions on this one and reconsider as I have previously had people email me arguing both ways. However, it would be best if you email me directly rather than send to the list.

I wrote privately to Dean about this difficulty, but he did not answer my questions about whether or not they could change our list format so that their own feature would work. At this time we need to cut and paste the individual's address from list messages in order to reply to the message only to the original sender and not to the list. I imagine several folks have been caught up in this misinformation from the manual. For the braillenote list you must cut and past to reply to the original message sender. > > > ----- Original Message ----- > >From: Steve Speicher <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >To: Braillenote List <[email protected] > >Date: Mon, 25 Jul 2005 12:08:57 -0500 > >Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Replying to an Email > > >In addition to what Rhonda said, after you've read a message you can > >press space with dots 2 and six to get the e-mail actions menu, then > >choose r for reply.
