Widu,

There's no point in even worrying about the router at this point since the bn
is obviously not recognizing the Ambicom card in the first place.

I'm sure you have done this, but make sure the card is inserted right side up.
You can tell the upper side of the card as the end which sticks out of the bn
is
slightly thicker than the rest of the card. If you look at this end you will
see that one side is flat over the entire end which is thicker. This side
should be
down as you slide it into the bn slot. The side which should be up has the
thick part, but with a slightly thinner area on the very end and around one
corner.
So, if you have the larger end flat-side down, you have it correct.

You get this message about being unable to start the wireless manager when your
bn cannot recognize the wireless card.

If standard compact-flash cards still work in the cf slot of the bn, chances
are there may be something wrong with the card itself.

This has to be very frustrating, but I honestly don't know of anything else to
tell you at this point except that the problem is clearly between your bn and
the
Ambicom card and the rest of your network is not involved.

Hi Widu:
There's got to be a way to do this. Did you reset the router? After resetting
the router, leave the card in, and reset the BN. Are you using Ambicom ws 1100
Ccf? Is the card loose-fitting in the back? If so, use a PCMCIA card and put
your Ambicom in there. When you've press Options, C, and W, you should get
a connection right away, unless you have a secured site. Again, best regards,
and good luck with this project.
