Dean and Tiffany and others, You may find this interesting.
We have a Toshiba 5GB microdrive and have had it a few years now. When we insert this into the right-hand slot of the BN it also locks up. However, if we insert it before turning on the unit then it does not lock up and appears to work perfectly. This is different from any other card we insert in that with the others we turn on the unit first and/or do a 123 reset. Go figure! Might help though. -- Carol [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dean Jackson Sent: Friday, October 07, 2005 6:02 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] mpower question Hello Tiffany, We are aware that this is necessary for some drives. I will investigate further and see whether this is consistent with the experience of other users who use this drive. If some are experiencing this and some aren't, we'll need to look at any variations in either the drives or the model of BrailleNote being used.
