Hi folks,

I have had four or five queries both on and off the list regarding
installing drivers for hardware devices on the BrailleNote via Activesync.
I'm going to address them in this email.

This is achievable via all BrailleNote platforms.

Most drivers are installed by running an executable (exe) file on the PC
while connected to Activesync and the appropriate files are extracted on the
BrailleNote.

We did this previously in the Development stages of the mPower with the
Edgeport converter mentioned in the manual and the currently supported Wifi
cards. However, since these drivers are now in the image, there is no
longer a need to do this for these devices.

The instillation of drivers or the operation of devices not supported in the
image (ROM) are not supported by Humanware. Therefore, you will need to
contact the product manufacturer if you run into problems with a driver
instillation.

Remember folks, we are only talking about driver installations here.
Products that require additional software to be used will not be compatible
with the BrailleNote and installations cannot have any requirement for user
interaction, except popping up message boxes.

Drivers must be compatible with ARM processors for PK and mPower users and
the Myps processor for classic BrailleNote users.

Then please tell me how one can install a driver? Yes I am aware you
