The text only does. the

www.amazon.com/text

it's the access one that doesn't have all the same info.

Yes, but it doesn't seem to provide all of the information that one can
find on the graphical site.

They have a text only site

www.amazon.com/text

and they have a very stripped down site

www.amazon.com/access

I don't recommend the second one at all.

however, in the last month, people using jaws above version 4.51 have
had
focus problems. amazon changed its site and that's when it all began.
window eyes users are not having the same problem. i've never tried
shopping online with my braille note, so I can't say how it works or how
it
works differently since the changes. However, if Karen was able to shop
with her BN before and now can't, then it isn't just a jaws problem.

You're right. My thoughts were not directed at anyone personally, I
simply feel that unless I have to, I will try hard to give my business
to companies that have web sites that are easier to use.
I am reminded that I have a gift certificate with Amazon that I've
never used.
Guess I'll have to fiddle with their site again!

I have an Amazon credit card that gives me reward points on any purchase
I
make with any company, so I have nearly one hundred dollars in my
account.
Reason enough to shop there, I think.

I have shopped Amazon with both Jaws and Window-Eyes.
I do feel that the site is cumbersome, and accordingly, I choose to shop
elsewhere. They (Amazon) don't have a monopoly on anything, meaning
anything they have can be purchased at another site. I'm not going to
reward companies who put together frustrating web sites.
Unless I have no other choice.

Hi
I'll try my BN mPower on it, but I can shop without any problems
using
Window-Eyes. The site itself is a bit cumbersome and has too much junk
on
it, but I have never had any problems. I'll give it a shot with my BN.

Hi, everyone,
I'm sure that those of you who are using the BrailleNote to shop at
Amazon
have found it to be pretty difficult since the site has been changed. I
can
do it with an old version of Jaws that I just happen to have kept but I
can't shop easily with the BrailleNote. The word is that it's a Freedom
Scientific problem but if that's the case, why can't the BrailleNote
handle
the site?
Any thoughts.
Karen
