I did that, checked that ActiveSync was set to use only serial on com5.

Hi, Sarah. I am having the same problem. The pc and bn say that I am 
paired, but nothing shows up in the mobile directory under my computer. Try 
setting the serial port in active sync to com 5. make sure it is also checked.
