No. keysoft being a shell is a known fact. I do not assume, cause then
I'll look stupid. And the reason why dean or jonathan or no one from hw
says anything when I submitted the same thing directly to jonathan and
to the tech support folks and to the bp.
Is cause they know my findings are correct.

I see, you are assuming this, based on past experience. Since it has
not been addressed by anyone from HW, I hope Jonathan and/or Dean will
kindly set us straight. I suspect you might be misinformed, having had
quite a bit of technical experience myself, but I hope to find out the
truth soon.

I submitted a very long document on the blind programming list on what
keysoft is, go search there archives. I have been a tech for going on 12
years now and just looking under the hood per say it all makes sense.
Keysoft is nothing but a shell just like explorer is a shell. There fore
humanware has total control of what we do or what we don't do. Therefore
it is them who we talk to when we want something cause they assumed that
responsibility.

Gabe,

Are you absolutely sure KeyWord is merely an interface for WordPad?
Where did you get this information?
You obviously know your stuff, I've just never heard this before,
especially not from Humanware staff, and wondered how you gained your
knowledge in this particular area.

Hello Jonathan
I know the underlying working of the keysoft structure out of in-depth
knowledge of the technology. I believe your miss leading the customers
again by telling them that keyword is a actual word processor when in
fact it is a name given to the option on the keysoft shell but its
underlying engine in in fact word pad.
This sounds familiar such as it did when miss information was giving in
the users manual about the "most popular" protocols being supported by
the email program.
When in fact it is only when the pop protocols, and the humanware says
that the unit is for on the go professionals, but tell me I could have
swore that more professionals used exchange over pop. Cause pop is only
for isp uses. And what about imap or http?

Hello Gabe, the BrailleNote PK does not use Wordpad. Rather it uses
KeyWord, a word processor designed by HumanWare that offers
compatibility with a number of commonly used formats.

the issue might be that because our all mighty word processor is "only"
wordpad, not a microsoft word clone as they would want you to think.
the
file might be to large? sorry for not being able to help.
