Paul - just as a recap for me, at what point did you actually manage to
recalibrate? We have a supposedly "full" battery right now, in that we
can't seem to reach the Recalibrate option and the mPower appears to
know that our battery is at 100%; but this is what happened last time.
. . .. Refresh my memory, please, with what you did and when?

Hi, Carol. On my unit, at least, it appears that once I get below ten
percent, the battery can go at any time. This might be because we are
supposed to be using a lithium battery now. I know, or have heard, that
the
packmate has a similar problem. When It reaches 14 percent, one is
advised
to close all files and prepare for the battery to go dead.
I only get a bit over seven hours on mine because I never make it to 0
percent. I haven't heard a thing from Dean or Jonathan, either and I
sent
my first inquiries on Friday. Things are probably pretty hectic back in
New
Zealand with the Funeral and all.
