Okay, Terry; if you put in your username and password and it doesn't
let you in, something is up with your username and/or password, and
you'll need to talk to the NLS regional library that assigned both to
you. (They probably gave you the username and asked you to make up your
own password.) Check with them before you go any further. Once you get
logged in, then the search page will come up. All NLS books are "free"
books, so I'm not sure what you mean by that.

I did try this with my BrailleNote the other day, and while it took some
perseverance (it's much easier on the PC), I did get in and get what I
was looking for. So don't despair. Just take one step at a time. Let's
solve the log-in problem first, and you'll need the library for that
one.

I can not seam to get past the log in. It asks for my log in, then pass
word, then goes back to log in. I remember seeing something about free
books. When I went to the top and tried to go through again it asked me
everything again. If I remember correctly, I don't remember finding the
search by title, author, or subject. Terry

Terry, it's not even necessary to do it my way. My point is that is you
didn't put it in from favorites, and did www.loc.gov/nls/braille that it
would put you into the login point. When you see that, and press dot
4-chord, this is what you see: Please type username and passwordThe next
dot 4-chord says site The next dot 4-chord says wwwlocgov The next dot
4-chord says braille braille The next one says Enter user name, Computer
Braille is required. That's where you'd type in your user name. If
you're already getting in, I wouldn't worry about these steps.

>>Lisa, I'm sure you left this out, but didn't mean to. The website is
>www.loc.gov/nls/braille. If you enter it like that, you are presented
>with your login. Press the dot 4-chord, and after the Braille Braille,

>press it once more. Log in your user name. Press dot 4-chord to enter

>your password. Press dot 4-chord again. You'll be asked to wait.
>When you start looking at the site, press Enter at the online catalog.

>Press dot 4-chord nine times to get to the title. This is a little bit

>the long way about, but works. When you see the title, press dots
>46-chord. You'll see examples. Press 46-chord again, you'll see "text
