Okay, Terry; if you put in your username and password and it doesn't let you in, something is up with your username and/or password, and you'll need to talk to the NLS regional library that assigned both to you. (They probably gave you the username and asked you to make up your own password.) Check with them before you go any further. Once you get logged in, then the search page will come up. All NLS books are "free" books, so I'm not sure what you mean by that.
I did try this with my BrailleNote the other day, and while it took some perseverance (it's much easier on the PC), I did get in and get what I was looking for. So don't despair. Just take one step at a time. Let's solve the log-in problem first, and you'll need the library for that one.
