Hi James;
It sayes on the computer copy of the manual, Basic D-S.
I think I have that right. I am going by Jaws and it is in jumbo print
and it is not coming up on the braille display so I can read it.
They had me connected from my computer, over the internet to another
computer, in the copy room and then connected to the embosser. By the
time we got that up and running and the paper feading right about a year
and a half had passed. I still had not caught on to the steps. then the
next thing I knew, the computer in the copy room was gone. They finally
got a new computer in there, but now there is some other problem about
using the internet. something to do with open access to the
internet. The reason they are putting it in the copy room in the first
place, is the noise. We do have a cabinet. None of this getting of my
BT, embosser and cabinet were easy. We had to get accepted in to the CAP
program. That took about 1.5 to 2 years. After they get the thing
working again, I just need a little time with my computer rep. to walk me
through the steps a few times to build up my comfidence. I have had this
thing for 2 years and have only been able to try it out a few times.
I guess time, patients and reminding are the only way I will get success.
That is how I got my nickname.
Powerful Powers
I would not have my job and equipment, today if I had not volenteered
during the winter and worked in the sumer, for 2 years. Then later, I
stood up for my rights.
I have had this job since the summer of 85 and sumer of 86. I volenteered
inbetween. They put the 2 summers together and made my starting point
Oct. 86. I should have about 20 years in now.

Terry,
Which embosser do you have? Write off list if you like!
Thanks much!
