Nicole; A tab, on the computer moves your cursor x number of spaces to the right. It is usually set for 5 but can be changed. People use it to indent for paragraphs and move from colomn to column in a table. I would not say it moves a line unless you put it in after typing your text. People usually use tabs to space their documents while typing the original document. If you have a blocked paragraph and you want it indented, you could go to the begining of the paragraph and hit the tab once and it should have a 5 space indent. Terry Powers

As far as I understand, correct me if I'm wrong, on a computer, when you press tab, it only moves the line you're writing on, and then run over is left alined again. Nicole Failure is not an option. ----- Original Message ----- From: "estin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, December 19, 2005 4:16 PM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] keysoft or windows >I would also like to sea the format menu have a revert to what you've >changed I'm taking an english class and every time we do an esay which is >quite often now I have to do the changes over again > just my rambleing > >> ----- Original Message ----- >>From: "Nicole Torcolini" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >>To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected] >>Date: Mon, 19 Dec 2005 14:21:32 -0800 >>Subject: Re: [Braillenote] keysoft or windows > >> I would like to see more defaults everywhere.
