Nicole;
A tab, on the computer moves your cursor x number of spaces to the right. It
is usually set for 5 but can be changed. People use it to indent for
paragraphs and move from colomn to column in a table. I would not say it moves
a line unless you put it in after typing your text. People usually use tabs to
space their documents while typing the original document.
If you have a blocked paragraph and you want it indented, you could go to the
begining of the paragraph and hit the tab once and it should have a 5 space
indent.

    I know I've mentioned this befor, and received slightly negative
responses, but I would like to see another tab that doesn't move your whole
paragraph. As far as I understand, correct me if I'm wrong, on a computer,
when you press tab, it only moves the line you're writing on, and then run
over is left alined again.

Failure is not an option.
