Hi, Yes, I'd definitely like to see the ability to open files of any type from within File Manager. Regarding the choice of application used to open the file, I'd like to see files of certain types open with their particular application by default and, if you wanted to open a .doc file using Book Reader, for example, have an Action menu or context menu similar to the email action menu, which offers options like print, emboss, email et cetera, and an "open with" option which gives you a prompt. Having to tell the system what application to use when opening a file every time that I want to do it would get annoying really quickly.

I also would like to see the braillenote have a choice of which drive you want to download e-mails since, even though the flashouldisk is 128 mb I still have files that are being sent to me that are attachments that I need to download that I can't because of there size. > I hope both of these ideas are looked at in future versions of keysoft. > Robert > > > ----- Original Message ----- > >From: richard Van Driel <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >To: Braillenote List <[email protected] > >Date: Fri, 13 Jan 2006 11:12:43 +1300 > >Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Folders > > >Hi all; > >I think it would be wonderful if we could open files and folders in the file and folder manager. > >I think that, if you open a file from the manager, you should be prompted if you wanted to open it in the word processor or bookreader and, if the file were an Html file, it would automatically open in Keyweb. > >What do you all think about this? > > >Richard > > >> ----- Original Message ----- > >>From: "Sarah Cranston" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > >>To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected] > >>Date: Mon, 9 Jan 2006 13:06:52 -0600 > >>Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Folders > > >>Here here!
