Hello,
Yes I suppose that you are correct in that regards. However you
could also have a plane fly into your house. There are many more easer
targets to hit then a bn out there. I believe that an sdk will really
enhance the bn line of products. I do not think that it will increase the
risk enough to be concerned. I have not stopped traveling because of the
increased risk of terrorism either though.

But understand I know there is no threat of a virus for the bn, I am just
saying do not say its impossible when it really is.

Hi Everybody,
I bought my voicenote qwerty in late June of 03, and I haven't been
plagued
with any viruses at all. (knock on wood)

Confidently? No, since I can't confidently say why people write
viruses in the first place. (It's one of the most despicable things a
computer-literate person can waste there time on, and I would really like
to
see what would happen if all this effort were to be directed somewhere
less
harmful, but anyway...) My layman's explanation as to why a BrailleNote
is
safe from the garden-variety virus is that the virus has nothing to
communicate with, nothing to "hook on" to. I don't know, maybe it's like
having a non-secure network, and we feel safe until we've been attacked.
Sorry I don't have any valuable virus-related facts here, I'm just
reiterating what I've been hearing from those in the know for years.

Can you confidently explain why not. I'm curious?

Do we not have a virus risk already do to the fact that we run windows?

Yeah,
But you don't want people who don't know what they're doing to develop
programs. That is a draw back. Also, would the virus risk be increased?

I for one agree that if there was a SDK then we could build a messenger
program that would allow us to communict and have a PDA like others,
and also develop altive programs for one the planner so it is more like
the Outlook one that is on every other device out there I belive :-)
Any how I don't have a device yet but form what I am reading and have
read in the manul and played around with on the standard classic VN
QT
This topic should make for a interesting subject and maybe give insight
in to the next KeySoft
Thanks
