You can find out all you want to know about hte GPS by going to www.senderogroup.com. They're also an authorized dealer of Humanware; if oyu order a braille note and GPS package from them it will come with it already set up and ready to use. Just keep in mind for mPower users that for one thing, the maps on the compact flash card are actually in \maps\maps rather than \maps because for some reason the directory structure is repeated in teh \maps folder (or at least, it was on mine for some strange reason) and that the points of interest for your state need to be downloaded to the compact flash \poi or whatever points of interest folder you're using before they can be used; they don't come on the card already.

When you order the GPS package, you get a receiver, an AC adaptor, a spare battery, a charging cradle for both, a car adaptor, a CD with the software, documentation, and MP3 tutorials, a booklit of CDs that contains maps and points of interest for the country you're in, and a compact flash card that mirrors the first CD wit hteh edition of a maps folder that contains the maps for the state you're ordering from pre-loaded, and a POI folder that comes with some country-wide POIs like talkign ATM locations and suchlike. It also comes with sundry docs in braille and print but I can't remember just what they are, the one thing I noted was that it came with the print retail manual for the GPS receiver, which contained some instructions in it htat were misleading due to the fact that we were using it in a different context than teh Earthmate people would have guessed. FOrtunately, there's a document in the docs folder of the CD/compact flash card that cleared all of that up for me; it just took a bit of digging because i didn't know i was supposed to be looking for it.

The price for this package is, and i always do this, either $1295 or $1395. I'm pretty sure it's $1295. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Austin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Sendero makes GPS software for the BN and Earth mate is one of the
receivers supported by Sendero. The PK and M Power support the Blue
Logger which is a wireless receiver. GPS lets you make routs and know
where you are anywhere. You can virtually plan routs and travel as well
as travel in real time. You can know what stores and other things are
around you as well.
