One thing I don't like is that you can't have the BrailleNote display a text document in computer Braille without everything being in computer Braille. Also, when I put an entry in the address list, say first name, if is a sort by item, it displays the sort information in grade 2 instead of whatever grade I put it in as. Can't the BrailleNote just show you what you put in without translating it?

That's one thing i wish was different. the when to use grade 1 or 2
braille. Using a BT keyboard, i hate having to write file names or other
things in grade 1, when I'm doing something I think of as narrative, meaning
not mathematical or something obviously a computer braille situation, such
as an email or web address.

Hello!

When typing in a name when looking up address, write the name in computer
braille or grade one. In other words, spell it out, no contractions. No
quotes are needed when typing a name in when looking for a particular name
or entering a new name in the address list. Grade two can be used while
entering names in the entry itself.

some way to make them paste themselves?

Thanks,

Oh the address book is a smash.
I love it.
When the love of my life showed me how to go to last name put in the last
name and it pops rite up.
Now if you are as dumb as I am and can't remember how to spell a last
name and know the first name it pops up well too.
I hit the letter A once then hit the space bar to look up address hit
enter, then space bar to the last name and off I go.
Just plum cool.
there are some things I am remembering to do.
I am truly proud of my husband knowing so much about the products.
If it hadn't been for him, I wouldn't have the pleasure of owning a
mPower.
It sure has helped me out.
Now if we can get the rite cords going, then all I would have to do is
set it up and it would take care of my sugar readings for the doctor.
At this time I put them in the computer and print them out.
I take my unit with me or if the love of my life goes with me to the
doctor he will take his unit.
Then we can write down information.
That sure helps.

Good one Stacy;
I agree. I like the fact that you can either remember the command to do
something or you can usually can find the choice on a menu. I find it
faster to hit the thumb key 3 times to get to address book than to
remember what letter I have to use to get there. This is very helpful
for new users and those, like me, who have a short term memory. The more
I use it, the better I will get.
Happy Holidays and thanks for all the new features in 7.0, Humanware!

Hi Nicole,
I really like how everything is so menu driven. I do think it would be
nice
to be able to open files from the file manager. I just find keysoft
really
easy to use.
