This is Joseph. Any hard drive will work with
BrailleNote mPower. Please be aware of the foloowing
note: BrailleNote mPower won't recognize hard drives
formatted with NTFS file system. It'll recognize FAT32
drives. The reason is that Windows CE devices only
recognize FAT family of file systems. If the hard
drive is formatted with NTFS, then BrailleNote will
try its best to reformat it using FAT32 (I tried it
using my CF card.). If it can't then it'll pop up an
error message. Most drives sold today are formatted
with FAT32, so I would say that you can preety much
buy any USB-powered hard drive. I hope this
information may hlep you.
