Hello Jose, You certainly do require a product key.
To get this, go to: http://pulsedata.propagation.net/sdw/user/login.aspx Login with the first five digits of your serial number and frog1 as the password. The 6.11 key should show under your serial number if you have purchased it and are entitled to upgrade to this version.
