Subject: [Braillenote] questions on tutorials

Hello all,

Well, to keep a long story short ... my BN classic was sent in for its
transplant several weeks ago, and due to confusion over various issues, not
anything to do with human Ware, it only arrived back in town yesterday. it
was sent to the adaptive tech person who works with my rehab counselor,
which is more convenient, because she can get it and hand deliver it to me,
instead of risking it being delivered while I'm at work. Anyway, she
decided to charge it up and check it out and discovered that some long term
intermittent problems I've had with the braille display since almost as long
as I've owned the original BN were still there, so she's sending it back
today to have it looked at again. We just all want to ensure that the unit
is working properly 100 percent when it comes home. Again, this is an
intermittent problem, so it's most likely nobody actually noticed it while
it was being transplanted. So, ... besides the fact that I am dying with
anxiety to get in and play with my wonderful new mPower, I'd like to start
reading manuals before I even get it back. My classic was still running key
soft 5.1, so I haven't used any newer versions of the software. I believe
rehab paid for the upgrade to 7.0, and i hope they arrange to have that done
while at human ware this time.

So, my question is, can i download manuals from the web site, and if so, can
someone send me a direct URL to do so? Which manuals should I get? I'm
thinking that perhaps I should go back before key soft 7.0, or will that
manual have everything I need to know about using the mPower? i just want
to take my days off later this week to do some serious studying, so I can
start using the mPower when it arrives. thanks very much! i just can't
wait!

Sherry
