I second his suggestion for a spreadsheet program. I have actually heard that lack as a reason some people did not want a BrailleNote, so he isn't the only person with this wish. I'd find it very useful, but I love my BrailleNote as is, so obviously I can live without a spreadsheet on my BN. I think I would find it even mor useful than I find having Excel on my computer, though. I suppose it would be a significant undertaking to create it, but I'm certain enough people would want it that it would be worth the trouble.
