Thanks when I told my husband who is a sort of data base guru about the problem he laughed and told me that is normal behavior, and I looked at a couple today and I think I will get a lot of use out of the recipe one if I can get all mine on the mPower. However, I might have to but a USB hard drive before I start that project. Keying them in is not going to be fun either.

YOu need to create the database itself by answering yes to the question and then you can add/lookup/whatever. It's similar to the keylist databases when you try to access them for the first time if you've ever had to delete and recreate one.
