Like many others, I am thrilled with the upgrade number 7 to my pk and consider the Humanware development team should be applauded for their efforts. I note some contributors have voiced their wish for the databases to have an optional accounting facility; I too would wish to be added to that list. I possess no PC and work exclusively in Braille. I run three databases which necessitate this facility. One keep account of my income which is derived from a number of sources; this is at the request of my bank. Another helps me run my piano tuning business and requires the totalling of both monthly and annual earnings and keeps track of my expenses; this is to satisfy the income-tax authorities. In a third database, I keep track of every bank cheque I write; the need for calculation is obvious. How I would love to move this work on to my much-treasured Braillenote, (soon I hope to be an Mpower), and thus be able to pention-off my twenty-year-old Eureka. Pleas do enter this as a distinct possibility for a future upgrade. Don Cooper.
