Lindsay, That was wonderfully expressed! I always have suggestions for
improving just about everything I use, but that does not at all mean that I
don't appreciate those things already, and I am often even very impressed with
things as they are. The BrailleNote is definitely one of those things I value
very much, and that means I also value the effort and ideas of those people who
created it. I hope not making everyone happy all of the time does not get too
discouraging, because it happens to everyone. :-)

I only wish I had gotten my Braillenote before my last semester of college,
because so many things would have been easier with a Braille Note. Honestly, I
had a Braille 'n Speak for most of my schooling and loved it and called it my
second brain, but when I got my Braille Note I loved that even more. I only
missed the calculator functions of my braille 'n speak, because it was more
advanced. I did love being able to see what I was calculating on the display,
though. Now with my MPower I can do so much more, and it is fast enough to
make me happy as well. I don't know how I would live without it. The time it
was gone for a repair of a dot on the display, and the time it was in for
transplanting were really hard on me. for once in my life I was even a little
happy that I was pretty sick during the transplant operation, so I wasn't doing
as much as I usually would with my BrailleNote. Can you believe that I just
implied that there is sometimes something good about morning sickness? :-)

  Dean,

I would like to echo my appreciation as well. Humanware has to be one of the
best blindness technology companies I have ever encountered. You guys have
greatly contributed to the advancement of technology for the blind and
genuinely care about expanding the possibilities for the blind which is
shown by your excellent track record of taking our feedback seriously and
implementing our suggested improvements in upgrades. As a high school
student, I don't know how I would manage to efficiently complete my
schoolwork (and succeed in my advanced placement classes) if it weren't for
my BrailleNote, which has proved invaluable! I feel like we are often quick
to voice problems we encounter with our BrailleNotes/VoiceNotes and suggest
how they may be improved, which I believe is absolutely necessary because
customer feedback is essential to the success of these products, however,
many of us don't often give you the applause which we know you deserve but
just don't always take time to express. So congratulations, Humanware, on a
job well done, and keep up the good work!

  Lindsay
