$50.00 to get access to one of the best online services for blind people who read is not too much - remember that most of the world's blind people, who buy products supporting Bookshare.org, cannot access it due to the U.S. Government's copyright legislation. Even not for profit oranisations have costs to meet.

Humanware, with its headquarters in New Zealadn, has not shown any public inclination to support greater access to online book services, even though amongst developed nations New Zealanders are starved of access to braile titles.

Value your subscription and support campaigning for universal access to online book services.

If I recall, the Public Domain link is not listed on the page with the request for password.
Try to find the Home  page link, thenenter,  and see if that help.
I totally agree that it is wonderful to be a Bookshare subscriber. However, $50 is alot of money for some of us.
