Hi all, I have just purchased a set of speakers from logictech for my laptop. The speakers work off the battery of the laptop when connected to the u s b ort. Now I'm wondering if they will work on the empowwer since that to has a u s b port. I don't have mine yet and so I'm just wondering out loud.

The sound quality is absolutely fabulous. Didn't have the fm radio at the time I tried this, so can't say about any improved reception. But, I have used the fm radio while using my portable Sony speakers and found the reception to be pretty good. Not sure if it's any better than with headphones, but definitely no worse either.
