Well, starting to run out of ideas here. But, I'm guessing you did the 4 5 6 reset, and that you also changed your ActiveSync connection type to Ethernet in the miscellaneous options. And, oh, yes, when you were setting up that partnership again, there was some other dialogue I would get once in a while, something about having only one partnership on the device, can't remember exactly right now, but I always left it set to the default of yes. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Holliman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, January 28, 2006 5:37 PM Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Wireless connection
Thanks Vicky, but I'd already tried deleting the partnership and re-creating it with the same result! It's crazy, I can connect to Active Stink with USB no problem; I can connect into my LAN wirelessly no problem; but if I try to connect to Active Stink via Ethernet, not a thing happens! To be honest, friends with conventional PDAs have told me that Active Stink isn't that hot at Ethernet connectivity and that in general it's better to use USB, so that's what I reckon I'll stick to! I have a conventional Loox 710 pocket pc here as well, and I tend to connect that to Active Stink via its cradle and USB connector. Ta for your help though, and I'm glad you can get it to work, I'll believe you have as I did do it once myself but no more!
