Hi Jonathan,

I think the present keyfot upgrade procedure can be accomplished by a deaf
blind person. Maybe it could be improved, but the main problem I see currently
is actually within the instructions themselves. The emphasis is placed on the
tones, but it might be a good idea to place more emphasis on what is displayed
on the braille display.

The major problem I see is knowing for sure when the reset takes, but this can
be determined by the content of the display after doing the reset.

Finally, although the 4 6 (j l) and 4 5 (j k) resets are described as resets,
they really aren't in the usual sense. They function more as mode changes.

I'm sure there is better wording out there than mine, but I think I make my
point.

I think these alterations would help things in the future and possibly
attention could be given to investigating software changes which might make the
upgrade more accessible by a deaf-blind person.

For my part, I almost never use speech anyway and find the tones are an aid but
certainly not necessary to the upgrade process as all I have to do is monitor
the contents of the braille display.
