It doesn't have to be done on a PC, you can download directly to the flash
memory card if you can connect to the internet using something other than an
ethernet flash card.

Ann, unless I'm misunderstanding you, if your card is in the back, it's a
compact flash card. If it's in the side, it's a storage card. When you
install the upgrade, the card needs to be in the back. If I read the
instructions correctly, it has to be done by way of the pc. Have fun with
the upgrade.
