Yes, and it's funny to hear their reactions as I deliberately make the so speech rate very fast <grin>. I love listening to them. They still think, after all these years, that I must be listening to a foreign language. As for her being able to see what's going on, a visual display might work. I have a PalmPilot that I used for Math classes, and it was great. The professor could look at my display through the PalmPilint and see what I was doing right and wrong. It worked out very well. I just realized it might work in the case of text adventure games, too.
