I said something to Jackie Wheeler last summer about this. She was intrigued. I was going to write to the CEO of Humanware, but then there was that terrible plane crash, so I didn't do anything. I think some major stripping down would have to be done so that K1000 would be affordable: use the speech already in the MPower and limit language choices, for example. I view this possible like a pocket version just as there are pocket versions of various Windows applications. It might be worth exploring and perhaps finding out how many people would be interested and whre the price point would have to be.
