If I stream these mp3 files through the web then on the local network would
this maybe work better?

Hello Jim,

We have not focussed on any networking functionality in the media player
since its implementation into KeySoft. It is because of the network
browsing that was implemented that you can play files over the network but
this isn't officially supported. Streaming is obviously supported but this
is supported via the browser and not directly from the player and on the
Internet rather than an internal network. The only thing I would suggest is
that you try and have as little load on your network as possible if playing
files via the network drive option.
