Hi All,

Yes, grin, more issues with my mPower and the battery. But, I'm not really
looking for a response at this time, just mentioning these. Although, at
some point if things don't improve, or I don't see the error of my ways one,
guess maybe I will have to contact tech support or something.

Anyway, you all might recall that I was happily talking about how my
ActiveSync partnership had stayed in tact the last time my battery dropped
from the thirty some percent to the eight or nine percent so quickly. Well,
although my wireless ActiveSync worked right after that, the next time I
turned the mPower on, it no longer would work. Now, I could still sync via
USB with the partnership with my PC, but not via wireless. So, I did the 4
5 6 reset, deleted the partnership and set it up again, and then vowed to
be more careful next time.

So, tonight when my battery was getting low once again, I thought I was
watching things more carefully. I hadn't used wireless at all after it got
to thirty-four percent, as I then only read things on the BAN and checked
the
battery status once in a while.

Then, once when the battery got to about twenty-one percent, the reading
voice stopped, and I started it up again. And, about
an hour later, I heard the battery low message and checked and the battery
was at
ten percent. So, I kept reading for another minute, and the reading voice
stopped again. And, although I could have started the reading again, as I
could move the Braille display around and the speech worked just fine, I
opted to plug in the AC adapter, even though I hadn't yet gotten the battery
critical message. And, right after I did this and checked
the battery status, it was still saying it was at ten percent.

So, in a couple of hours, the battery was charged up to one hundred percent,
and I was told the gauge was accurate. However, when I hit the letter l to
get info about my last discharge, I was told there was no information
available. And, again when charging up the unit, I didn't have to do a
reset or anything, just
plugged in the AC adapter as I had mentioned and the BN was talking
normally. But, once more, as I kind of suspected when I got no info when
pressing that letter l, although my USB ActiveSync partnership worked just
fine, I got that kind of shrill beep from the mPower when I tried to sync
wirelessly, so I
knew from experience what that meant for me once again.
