any divice that is plugged into the BN will draw a lot of power, and compare the battery life of the BN to a laptop.

Subject: [Braillenote] Compact Flash

Ever since I got my VoiceNote I have been really disapointed
about the short battery life after each charge whether switched on or not. Nothing anywhere near the promisd 20 hours.

The problem wa that I had the Compact Flash card plugged in all
the time. Clearly it really draws on the battery because now I remove it it when not actually using the files on it and the machine is behaving as advertised.

This is probably a no brainer to most of you but I thought it
might be worth sharing.

Graham
