Hello Dean and Jonathan,
I have had my mPower for about a month. Last week before
installing the 7.0 upgrade, I was successful in connecting and
embossing a document on my Braille Blazer via serial connection.
Following embossing I upgraded to 7.0 and today when I went to
emboss I received a message "cannot open braille table." (there
may have been another word, but I was so shocked with the message
I may have missed something.) of course I was in a hurry. I
checked the settings and noticed a setting for selecting
embossing table. After using the help menu to figure this out, I
chose the usa default and it printed. I also reviewed the
chapter on printing and embossing documents and no mention of
this setting was made. I really like the help feature when I get
into fixes like this. Would you explain about these tables and
where to read about them in the manual? Thanks. I don't know if
other people have run into this after upgrading to version 7.0.
