Richard Ring characterized the games as "fluff", but based on the demand for such games over quite a long period of time on this list and probably elsewhere, I would have to disagree. I can't go so far as to say they are as essential as keybase, but Humanware does have to do it's best to satisfy user demand when those demands are great enough and also workable within the PDA framework.
