Hi Robert, Rhonda and list
I was away from the office on Friday and I am away today, hence me not
having received your email. All the BrailleNote list email is accessed
from another email account while I am away and for what are probably obvious
reasons, the Humanware address is only checked while I am at work and during
working hours. I would remind you and other list members however, that if
queries are of a technical support nature, they should be directed to your
closest Humanware office. Queries will be handled by myself if escalated to
me via other Humanware support representatives.
Regarding the KeyMail problem, to test it properly, I would ping your pop
server by name and not by IP address that is to say, whatever you have the
pop server name set as in your directory of email accounts entry. If that
fails, I would then obtain the IP address of the server and ping that
address. This may or may not get us closer to the cause of the problem,
depending on what happens.
I am presuming that your friend also has KeySoft 7 and is using the same
wireless card as yourself?
Rhonda, the shared authentication to which I was refering, is a setting in
the configuring of a wireless network and does not relate to the sharing of
a network with a computer. Thank you for the other information you have
