HI, Robert et al

Robert:  Thanks for such a prompt response.  I did a reset with just 4,5,6
(don't think I'd be physically capable of holding the record button as well)
and things seem to have righted themselves for now.  My display was turned
off and my speech was turned on.  I've yet to discover other changes this
machine seems to have made in the process.  In any case, it's all been
pretty scary.

Fortunately, I had minimal script to record in the studio this morning and
probably could have ad libbed, but it's nice to know I won't have to do
that.  *Huge sigh of relief.)

Any ideas on what happens and why?  I'd appreciate knowing how to avoid this
in the future.
