This has been my experience as well. I believe the memo feature
only records mono.

Having just received my MPower transplant recently, I decided to

recording an FM broadcast. I found one that came in very nicely,

really clean static-free signal and great separation. I set the
recording
options for 44 khz, maximum bit depth and so on and began
recording. The
recording came out very clean and crisp, as expected, but it's in
mono.
Where did I screw up? Are we only able to record FM broadcasts in
mono, and
if so, why?
