Andy,
I would like to thank you for the direct and straight forward answer. This
is what is needed on this list.

Subject: [Braillenote] classic battery calibration / recordings

Classic battery : Shaz, we were trying to make the battery calibration
similar across all units, without confusing existing users too much. So
in KS7 the classic wants to do a discharge and then recharge itself - it
seemed more convenient for a unit to end up fully charged. We had to make
it similar at some level since most of the KeySoft code is common across
all platforms.

Recording : You don't need a powered external microphone - I'm sure Mr.
Mosen can correct me if I'm wrong here, but you tend to either have
dynamic microphones, which do not need power, or electret microphones,
which often do need power. Either type should work with the mPower.

The FM radio does seem to be recording in mono, which I'll try to take a
look at very soon.

regards,

Andy.
