Just plug it in. it needs to work that way with 7.0. Earlier versions of the
bn let you talk the thing to death. Now, you have to plug it in so it can
start talking from a full charge. That is how it calibrates itself.
I just did my classic a week ago. Be prepared for a long time. It took me
all day<grin>.

Subject: [Braillenote] Recalibrating the battery

hi, I have just tried to recalibrate the battery on my BN QT running 7.0 and
I can't get it to do the talking to the battery goes flat. It is a classic
model but when I go into support information mode and press F to flatten the
battery it asks me to plug in the adapter for this test. I know with the
M-powers this is how you do it but I didn't think it was for the classic and
when I look through the user guide it doesn't say anything about plugging it
in before pressing F. The only thing it will let me do to flatten the
battery is exercise the Braille display but this didn't work to Recalibrate
the battery because it still gives me a capacity inaccurate count of 6.

I hope someone can help,

>From Shaz.
