Hello, this is KC Spear. I've had this experience too. I could be mistaken, but, in my case, it meant that someone sent a message and there is something wrong with it. I just hit d (for delete) on the QT and the error disappears. (If I hit "enter," the message remains on the ISP computer.) HTH
