Hi Alex, well what a cool goal to have. Perhaps if you attain that goal, you can assist with a future generation BrailleNote. We do have access to hardware engineers and industrial designers in-house. Designing hardware that is useable is a complex thing, but it's rewarding as well especially when you finally rlease something and see it being used.
