Yes, please do consider making the remote control feature part of the remote
synthesizer as well as braille terminal. By the way, is it possible to use
both at once? I like to examine in braille, but I'm more efficient with speech,
so having both is ideal.

Hi Graham, at present, the Braille input function is part of the Braille
display mode. Adding it to the remote synth option is something I'll make
  a note of.

Would that work for a VoiceNote too? Could I use the VoiceNote as an
external audio 'display' of the Powerpoint on the PC?

I have been looking for a way to do this sort of thing for ages!

Hi penny, I suspect your best bet would actually be to drive a Powerpoint
presentation on a PC. You could use your BrailleNote to do this, using
either Window-eyes or JAWS for Windows and controlling it from your
BrailleNote. The nice thing about this is that you can use Bluetooth, so
you could freely move about the classroom and control the Powerpoint
Presentation, checking the content of the slides on the Braille display.
But yes you could also use Hyperterminal on a PC to have whatever is on
your BrailleNote come up on a PC screen.

Remember awhile back that Jonathan said I could write an example,
and have it translated on the fly and shown on a screen?
What will I need besides the m-power bt and a screen? Will this
have to go through a regular PC? If so, can I just eliminate the
use of the mpower and enter the text to be shown to my students
  directly on the screen?
If this takes my query out of the BN list-topics, could someone
  just email me privately?
I'm going into a classroom and want, perhaps, to put stuff up for
kids to see. I have an mpower, but could have a PC just as
  easily.
Please advise. There are advantages to using the BN. I have it
  already, for starters.
Just tell me what extra stuff I need to make my giving kids a
  print message practicable.
  Thanks.
