This is Joseph. If you hve a BrailleNote mPower, you can use USB cable to connect to ActiveSync. For DSL Internet connection, you need a special LAN CompactFlash card in order to connect to Internet. It is a Socket CF card (model: EA29020139(. If you are using ActiveSync 3.8 or earlier, you can use the same card to connect to ActiveSync. I hope this information may help you. P.S. I recommend using a router and a spare Ethernet cable when usign your BN and your laptop.
