This is Joseph. If you hve a BrailleNote mPower, you can use USB cable to
connect to ActiveSync. For DSL Internet connection, you need a special LAN
CompactFlash card in order to connect to Internet. It is a Socket CF card
(model: EA29020139(. If you are using ActiveSync 3.8 or earlier, you can use
the same card to connect to ActiveSync. I hope this information may help
you.
P.S. I recommend using a router and a spare Ethernet cable when usign your
BN and your laptop.

Subject: [Braillenote] active sync on the braille note and a laptop

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to use active synic with the
braille note and a laptop. Also can a connection be made with a usb port.
I have tried to get active synic to work with my braille note and my laptop
and I can't get it to work with my laptop and throught he usb port. My
serial cable won't fit my laptop even with the addapter. Any ideas? One
more thing Is it possible to use the braille note with DSL and if so how? I
am getting DSL at home I am at school now and I would like to use the
internet with my braille note but right now I can only use the dial up modem
because I don't have anything else to use wireless or eithernet. Thanks to
any help.
Malaina
