This is Joseph. It depends. If he set the preferred reading grade to grade
1, all prompts will be in grade 1. If you set your grade for keyboard entry
to grade 1, you won't be able to type the message in grade 2. I think it got
something to do with your friend's setting. I hope this information may help
you.

I wrote a nice neat message, as I usually do, and it came up totally blank.
What I can have done to precipitate such a thing I don't pretend to know.
Question: A friend of mine, Isaac, is saying that he receives my BN-SENT
messages in grade one rather than in grade 2. Do you all receive me in
grade 2?
He probably uses a PC, unix, and a braille terminal. But I do not know
for sure.
