I'm not talking about a regular reset. Hold down the J, K, and L keys and then press RESET. Continue pressing down these three keys until you hear the start up sound, then release them. You will be asked to reset the time and date, then to RESET (with no keys). The manual should be back.

mpower

I use a qt so the commands will be different. and I already
reset it with
the rest button that is how I lost them in the first place and I
am not
able to get online with the bn right now because I don't have
access to a
dial up modem.
Malaina> Just do a 4-5-6 (j-k-l) reset. This restores all system
files,
including the manual. If that doesn't work, someone on this
list
can just email all the manual files from their unit, and you can
put them in the "manual" folder on the KS System Disk. The
reset
should take care of it, though.

Subject: [Braillenote] Help I lost my users guide on the mpower

I had to reset my mpower and now I don't have my users guide the
files are
gone and I don't know what to do. I don't know if I reset it
wrong or
something I have had to reset it before and this has never
happened
before. Can anyone help me? Is there a certain way to rest
should the
unit be on or off or something. Can I get my files back?
