Penny, you cannot use the dot five that way. This is grade three Braille, and not recognized. Also, the dot five is interpreted as a quote in Computer Braille.

Subject: [Braillenote] Brit braille dot 5 signs

Hi. I like to use the dot 5 g to stand for the word god; dot 5
C for Christ, etc. But I cannot get the braille-note to
pronounce these using the pronunciation dictionary. But are they
not typical UK braille signs? Can I not get the m-power (bt) to
speak the word God for dot 5 G? Etc.
thanks for any help you can be.
