Hi Alex, Do you mean the Lexar thumb drive? That brand does not work. Best Regards,

I have found that Lexmark thumb drives and BN don't get along at all, but every CF or SD card I have tried works. (Mostly Sandisk, but also a few other brands which I don't know because I never asked; I put the card in, it worked, I was happy). As far as upgrading, the file is a .bin file, not a .exe file. This means that, unless I have missed completely, the upgrade file must be on an SD card (after running the "prepare SD card" utility) for it to work. I wish there was a way around this, too, because if there is a free patch or something, I don't want to get a FREE upgrade only to have to buy an SD card. As far as MS Word goes, I had that problem on my classic. I noticed no pattern in what it would and wouldn't open, but my MPower seems to have taken care of that. Graphics are, obviously, not supported in MSW files and could be causing the problem. In a message to the list a while ago, a member of HW said that KS 7 fixed the bug that you are now describing. See if the files giving you trouble now still do after you have KS 7 running. Hope that helps, and have a great day, Alex > ----- Original Message ----- >From: Lauren Tay <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: [email protected] >Date: Sat, 18 Feb 2006 19:34:59 +0800 (CST) >Subject: [Braillenote] Thumb Drive; Word Documents; Installing KeySoft 7 >Dear All, >I am a new user of BrailleNote mPower BT 32.
